Getting Started

Supported Assets

Sova Prime is built around Bitcoin. Depositors bring BTC on-chain, where it is wrapped into sovaBTC — the unified settlement asset of the Sova Chain — and then allocated into Prime vaults.

  • ₿ BTC (via sovaBTC)

    • Backed 1:1 by native Bitcoin

    • Bridges BTC into the Sova Chain execution layer

    • Redeemable at any time back to native Bitcoin

    • Basis for minting spBTC, the yield-bearing vault token

Supported Networks

Sova Prime runs natively on the Sova Chain, a Bitcoin-aware execution environment purpose-built for yield and treasury infrastructure.

  • Fast, low-cost transaction settlement

  • Native compatibility with Bitcoin wrappers (sovaBTC)

  • On-chain transparency and composability with ERC-4626 standards

Coming Soon Interoperability modules will expand support to select EVM chains and Bitcoin-native layers, enabling allocators to access Sova Prime vaults wherever they operate.

Wallet and Account Requirements

Using Sova Prime is straightforward:

  • A supported Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Rabby, Ledger)

  • BTC bridged into sovaBTC

  • No onboarding or permission required — Sova Prime is fully permissionless

Compliance Note For allocators who require KYC/KYT controls, custody integration, and regulated access, Sova PrimeX provides a permissioned institutional track.

What Are spBTC Tokens?

When you deposit BTC into Sova Prime, you receive spBTC — an ERC-4626 compatible token that represents your share of the Prime vault.

Each spBTC token:

  • Is fully on-chain and ERC4626-standardized

  • Tracks your share of vault Net Asset Value (NAV)

  • Automatically increases in value as the vault earns BTC yield

  • Can be redeemed 1:1 for sovaBTC → native BTC

Think of it as a Digital Yield Certificate Visible on-chain, backed by BTC, and continuously compounding in Bitcoin terms.
